The Private Basement Lounge: your own space to celebrate.
There's a particular kind of disappointment familiar to anyone who has organised a celebration in the Tricity — a "private area" that turns out to be a roped-off corner of the main floor. Below our main floor, we built the answer to that.

You book a "private area" at a restaurant. You arrive to find a section of the main floor with a rope across it, or a few tables pushed together near the entrance. Your speech competes with someone else's birthday song. Your music isn't your music. Every time the door opens, half your guests turn to look.
You've paid for a private party and received a reserved table.
What it actually is
A fully private lounge, seating up to 40 guests, with its own dedicated bar.
Not a partitioned corner. Not a curtain. A separate floor with its own entrance flow, its own bar, and its own staff for the duration of your event. When you book it, the space is yours — not shared, not overlooked, not interrupted.
The dedicated bar is the detail that matters more than people expect. It means your guests aren't queuing upstairs behind the regular dinner crowd, and your drinks service moves at the pace of your party rather than the pace of the restaurant.
What it's right for
Birthdays. Particularly the ones that matter — a 30th, a 50th, a first birthday where you want the room warm and the noise level yours to control.
Engagements and roka functions. Intimate enough to feel personal, private enough for the family to relax, with a bar for the half of the room that wants one.
Corporate dinners and team offsites. Sector 67 sits in the heart of the Mohali IT belt, which makes us a short drive for most teams in the area. A private floor means your team can actually talk — and your leadership can actually be heard.
Kitty parties and ladies' lunches. Regular, comfortable, and yours for the afternoon.
Farewells, reunions, anniversary dinners — the occasions that need somewhere better than a house and less impersonal than a banquet hall.
Menus are built, not picked
You are not handed a laminated party package and asked to choose Option A or Option B.
We build the menu around your event: the guest count, the occasion, the balance of vegetarian and non-vegetarian, the cuisine your group actually eats. Our kitchen runs North Indian, Chinese, and Continental, so the range is genuinely open.
If it's a celebration, the cake comes from our own bakery downstairs — same building, same standard, no third-party coordination and no last-minute surprises about what turns up. (More on that in Part 10.)
Packages start from ₹700 per head, with a minimum of 10 guests.
Why 40 is the right number
Forty is a deliberate size, not a limitation.
Below about twenty-five, a large hall feels empty and the energy never builds. Above sixty, an event stops being a gathering and becomes a function — you spend the evening moving between tables instead of actually being at your own party.
Forty is the number where everybody can hear the speeches, the host still gets to sit down and eat, and nobody leaves without having spoken to you.
For anything larger, we cater — including events up to 1,000 guests, which we'll come to later in this series.
How to book it
Call us and tell us the date, the guest count, and the occasion. We'll tell you honestly whether the lounge is the right fit or whether your event would be better served by catering at a venue of your own — including if the honest answer is the second one.
